I feel i must say my part regarding a sproting legend

Ken shamrock was the first of a breed, When other fighters could only do one thing - usualy only strick, Ken was first to start a hybrid fighting system using Shootfighting and stricking effectivly, in a real fight. this proved to be the way forward and now you will not see an MMA fighter who is not versed in both striking and effective grappling.

Ken will be missed in the ring but im sure will continue to turn out top fighters from his Lions Den fighting school.

The original and in my eyes the best - a true worrior and gentleman.

We could learn a lot from someone who has accomplised so much againsed such long odds.

I can agree he is and still will be a top fighter - but he should have quit the game along time ago, he has not looked in shape for a while and stuck in the past glories!

Any chance of any cage rage or Pride tips as well as UFC? Is it not true that cage Rage is in the uk?

pride will be coming soon - there are a lot of #ufc vets fighting at the minute, but dont expect much on cage rage - its just a load of big guys trying to beat the 'bejesus' out of each other, as soon as someone with a bit of skill gets involved its game over - as Renato 'Babalo' Sobral proved when he made them look like the big gorillas they are!
